Gradient container with Alpha transparency

I found a very good gradient container MorphContainer-ucGradContainer design by Matthew R. Usner.
Can someone modify to add a new property Opacity so container became semi-transparent but not controls from container...?....like this....maybe...

Container have a property Transparent.....but  this is another approach

I have a probleme......Alpha property not work when container is on MDI Form.......?

And what method can i apply to draw shadow around container.....?
